Hooray for Earth!

This post is mostly a tribute to Liam's uncle Jeff.  Every (as in only for the last two years) Jeff has put out a yearly mix full of his favorite songs from that past year. This year there is one song in particular that Liam loves....I mean really, really loves.  Liam has always really enjoyed music, and Denise and I make sure to only play him music that we can listen ourselves as well. Ultimately this has turned Liam into a bit of music snob, but it also has its more pleasant moments.

Case in point, the video below is Liam's reaction to this song off of Jeff's mix EVERY time. Denise told me about it one day when I had come home from work so I decided to test her story (you never know when Denise is exaggerating). Well true to her word, I played the song and Liam immediately started dancing. So I started the song over and recorded the whole episode. The video below is a little long for our casual readers (and by YouTube standards), so if you aren't interested in watching all four minutes then just skip around a bit so you can see the wide variety of different dance moves he comes up with. One thing to watch for is at 2:05....I'll explain after the video.

So at 2:05 Liam, as you saw, points at his rear end and says "it was probably me!" Well, someone in our family passed gas the other night and Liam laughed of course, but then he asked who could be so rude (not in those words exactly). Well to protect his mothers good image I told Liam that whenever someone toots, it is safe to assume that it is "probably Daddy" (which it was). So later, when he tooted...and I wasn't around...he told Denise that is was "probably Daddy." Denise made him own up to it; so now as you've seen, he'll say "It was probably me" when he toots. It has only happened a few times, but it never gets old (because fart jokes never do).

Cute!!! In our house we only dance to "dance" music and there's much more twirling involved. Oh, and it's probably William.
