The Gasser Quadruplets

Dan's parents came to see us! It was a long awaited treat to have them here. After a lot of drama getting them from the airport (missed exits, accidental detours across the bay, missed flights, bags in one airport and landing in another, and two bridge toll violations) it was pure bliss from there forward. We had a nice time, lots of rain, LOTS of food, and obviously a lot of Liam. It was funny seeing them all together. Liam is a carbon copy of Dan, who is a carbon copy of both parents rolled into one.

Because of the constant downpour of rain, we found some nice ways to spend time indoors. We really liked the Academy of Sciences...complete with an aquarium, a rain forest, and a green roof.

We had one sunny day! We took advantage of it by driving out to Point Reyes. It was absolutely gorgeous! There were green rolling hills with grazing cows overlooking the endless expanse of ocean, and waves crashing against the rocks, a lighthouse, seals, and whales (which we didn't get to see)...really incredible. Aside from the icy cold wind, it was a perfect day.

I took this video at the Academy of Sciences. Liam was providing pretty decent entertainment for everyone in line as we waited to enter the rain forest. Also, the conversation in the background is SO perfectly Gasser. It's got everything from bad jokes that nobody gets, to fart accusations. I love it!
