March in a Nutshell

I know you all think I should just give up the dream of recording EVERYTHING in this blog, and just skip ahead to present day. But I just can't do it. So here we are in July and I am going to tell you what happened in March. I would say that one of these days I will start posting regularly...but what's the point:)

We had some really nice days in March, so we headed to North Vancouver to a beautiful look out with a lighthouse and a great view of Vancouver.

As you can probably guess, we also had MANY days of not-so-nice weather. Finally one day I just gave in and let Liam run wild in the rain. We actually had a great time! He had a blast sprinting up and down our alley splashing in every puddle. It felt good to enjoy the rain for once rather than curse it like I usually do.

Liam is getting really good on his little bike. He finally figured out how to balance, so he can lift his feet and cruise!

Wallowing in a blanket on the floor...unfortunately he gets that from me:)

One Saturday in March Dan took Liam out for an adventure and I stayed home to rest and get some painting done. At one point they ended up going 'fishing'. Liam loved it.

This was a joint effort, but mostly a creation by Liam. It's a family portrait! (all his own idea). The far left is daddy, next is mommy, then Liam, and of course he had to include baby Grey who was still in my belly at this point. You can tell he didn't have much to go off of, because the likeness isn't quite as good as the others:)
