In my never-ending attempt to catch up on my blogging, I thought I would try to give a glimpse of some of our day to day activities. Most of these photos are from September and October.
Unfortunately washing the car is less of a day to day activity, and more of a year to year activity. We finally had to break down and wash the car in an attempt to trick the inspector into passing our car and letting us FINALLY register in Canada! It almost worked...almost:)
Liam and Dan have been going to the same barber. Good ole' Carlo.
Dan occasionally gives up on making Liam nap, and takes a nap himself instead.
After some relatively successful nights in a toddler bed, Liam realized that exercising his freedom was much more fun. He started getting out of bed every single night, climbing onto his changing table using the slippery knobs, turning on the light (positioned above the changing table), then getting down and playing until the wee hours of the morning. We would try going in and putting him back in bed, turning off the light, and threatening him to stay in bed...or else! But NOTHING worked. Sometimes he would get up three or four times a night. I would see the light on in his room after midnight. One night Dan saw the light on and went in to throw him back in bed, and found him asleep on the changing table. Cute! But after a while the cuteness wore off and Dan ended up shoving the changing table into the hallway one night at about 1:00am. Problem sort of solved:)
Here we see Liam admiring his fine reflection in the water at Granville Island.
I took Liam to White Rock in early October and while we were there they were setting up for filming of the TV show 'Psych'. Apparently it is filmed in Vancouver. Oh the life of the rich and famous...rubbing elbows with celebrities:)
I try to get our for a walk most days, and near our neighborhood there is a great little house with a large electric train track set up out front. They have a little button out on the fence for kids to push and make the train go. It is SO cute! Liam looks forward to pushing that button...sometimes it's the only thing that gets him out the door.
This is what happens when it's almost 8:00 and I have yet to provide poor Liam with dinner...he has become quite independent.
BC Plates...FINALLY...Hooray!
Although the gloomy rain of winter has descended upon us, we occasionally get beautiful sunny days. Cold, but sunny. How cute are these two?

Congrats on the BC plates! So glad everything worked out.
Living in Vancouver you'll definitely find yourself stumbling upon film sets for movie and TV shows from time to time. "Hollywood North", as they say. You'll also probably start to notice Vancouver in the background for a lot of movies/tv shows/commercials you watch -- even times when it's supposed to be another location. Like it's supposed to be set in Seattle, but, oh look, there's Lions Gate Bridge in the background. Haha!
Love all the Liam updates. That is one hilarious, cute kid you got!
