Visit to White Rock

One Saturday evening we decided to take a little trip to White Rock.  It is a really fun area with a real beach-town vibe. We had SUCH a good time. It was one of those nights where the weather is exactly perfect, the scenery is beautiful, and you are perfectly content just to wander around aimlessly and soak it in. There was a great pier that takes you pretty far out into the water.

This woman had made an incredible sand castle. This picture probably won't do it justice, but we were super impressed. She had a clever little target set up for tips so you could throw money down to her from the pier and try to land it in the cup.

Liam has taken up rock throwing as a new hobby. I especially love the double rock throw as seen below...a move he has perfected over time.

Here is THE white rock itself...and yes, it has been painted. Disappointing, I know.

I believe this was Liam's first ever ice cream cone of his very own...in rhubarb flavor!

We stayed past Liam's bed time, and by the end he was basically falling asleep on my head.
