Pre-Christmas

So you will have to bear with us briefly. Now that we are back and settled into sunny California we finally have found the time to begin the blog updates. However, instead of just stepping into christmas...we wanted to start with the few weeks leading up to the big trip(s). There is nothing too exciting here (meaning the casual followers can just come back tomorrow for the next post), it just seemed weird to skip the whole beginning of the month of December. Let's see....Dee put together a great Christmas Tree (as par usual) while I reveled in my inherited disdain for putting up Christmas decorations....Liam inherited a "new" doll...Liam met Santa...and finally,Trevor and some of his friends were the first to board at the DanDee B&B.

For the past month Liam has been saying "HoHoHo" anytime he sees anything that resembles Santa (even creepy bearded men). However, you can tell from his face that the real Santa is a little more intimidating than the cartoon versions he is used to. We thought that the "HoHoHo'ing" would stop after Christmas, but apparently we are in it for the long haul. Now, Liam uses the phrase to tell us that he wants to watch TV since Santa cartoons were his first exposure to the magic box.

This final picture is yet one more photo of Trevor carrying Liam around in random household objects. Stay tuned to subsequent posts because as you'll soon realize, this is becoming a pattern whenever we visit family. I don't quite get how he coaxes his uncles into these ridiculous schemes......
