Filling in the Gaps

Our computer is a big time failure. It boots up all the way once for every hundred times I attempt to turn it on. It could be the best or worst thing that ever happened to my "lifestyle". It has put me completely behind on emailing, blogging, shopping online etc. On the other hand it has forced me to be more productive and creative with my time. Dan is in San Francisco this morning with some of his students, and was forced to leave his laptop here. So I have been computing for about two hours now and I'm just getting started:) Anyway, here are a few photos that I've been meaning to post for a while now.

p.s. somehow the things I type will randomly change into a hyperlink and I can't get it back to normal. Sorry. It must be my lack of computing as of late.

He has been loving his baby trap! He bounces and screams for about five minutes at a time while I frantically try to do something that requires two hands. It's been a good system.

Liam wakes up from his naps and usually just starts talking and rolling around. I usually spy on him for a few minutes before going in to pick him up. This time I found him with his entire mouth wrapped around the bar of the crib chewing away.

Seven months old, and looking so mature.

First Pedicure! I took Mary in for a pedicure recently, and at the last minute they talked me into getting one too. I was hesitant to try it because I had Liam on my lap. But there were about twelve Asian girls working there who couldn't get enough of him. That alone kept him on my lap and entertained the whole time. It was actually really fun. After they finished on me, they turned to Liam and asked if he wanted one. I pointed out that he actually could use a trim. So she found some clean clippers and cut Liam's toenails as well. They were all giggling hysterically and thanked him for his business then told him to come again!

Here he is with his brand new high chair/booster seat. He may have been a little hesitant starting out, but you should see him now! He knows his way around that chair like it's the back of his hand. In fact, it's become quite a problem. He figured out how to snap off the white tray (it detaches for easy cleaning). He rips it off and waves it all around spilling his precious cheerios far and wide. I finally gave up on using it. It's been added to the pile of random toys he loves most. (right next to his box lid, hanger, and egg yolk separator.)
