First Bites

Liam's quality of life has recently improved. He has been introduced to the mystical world of food (if you call rice cereal food) that he has been trying to get his hands on for months now. He ate like an old pro. Which is not surprising because eating just happens to be the greatest gift he was born with. Here is the full video of his first bites. It is EXTREMELY long...mainly due to the fact that I am too lazy to try to edit it down. I also figured his grandmas wouldn't mind watching the entire spectacle in all it's glory. As for everyone else, I suggest skipping ahead quite a bit. This was a couple weeks ago. Since then he has downed carrots, peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, and a banana mango combo. Also, I let him drink water from a glass today. Ha! It looked so hilarious. He actually did really well. He kept going back for more and didn't really spill any down his chest. AND...His first tooth started coming in today! Can you believe it!? I am so excited. His tooth actually kept clinking against the glass while he was drinking:) All in all he's pretty much a grown man.

This fancy spoon was a gift from one of Dan's professors! It actually holds food and lets you squeeze it out onto the bowl of the spoon. Isn't that clever? The rice cereal was so thin, though, that we had to spoon it from a bowl the good old fashioned way.
