This was our first Thanksgiving all by our lonesome! I think that qualifies us as official grownups. We did have another couple over, so we weren't totally sad. We tried to keep some family traditions alive. Dan made his mom's amazing fresh cranberry sauce, and I made my mom's traditional crescent rolls (which turned out surprisingly well considering it was my first time using yeast). However, we did buy our turkey pre-cooked, sliced and seasoned...so maybe we still have some maturing to do.
